First Step In Diagnostics
in-person training with Jim Wilson
The MIL is on - what is the first thing the tech should do? Pull out the factory scan tool or is there an easier way? Using global OBD2 tools should be the first step.
We'll cover how to assemble the tools you need to access the information to fix the car, making your job easier, as well as what tests you need to perform to get the most information, allowing you to decide the next steps in diagnostics.
James Wilson has over 45+ years of experience as an ASE Master certified technician, dealership technician, fleet technician, shop owner, and trade school instructor for automotive and diesel technology. Wilson has worked for OTC/Bosch, Allen Test Products, Bear Automotive, Target training, and Mitchell International, to name a few, and formed his own training company, Auto Dynamics Ltd.
