Igniting the Future: Exploring Career Opportunities in the Automotive Industry
The Springfield Chapter of the Automotive Service Association will be hosting a networking and panel discussion event at Ozark Technical Community College to introduce students seeking a career in the automotive service industry to local independent shop owners and managers to make a connection with future technicians that could potentially become employees and discuss the skills employers looks for in their hiring process.
The panel discussion will give shop owners a chance to talk about their experiences in the industry and answer questions from students entering in to the field. These students represent the new generation of automotive service professionals. It is important for current professionals to mentor and guide them in order to strengthen and secure the future of our industry.
Industry professionals, educators, and students are encouraged to attend!
NEW - One (1) $500 Student Scholarship will be presented in Fall 2017. Applications will be available at the event.
